At the age of 29, she was already a senior leader. Her leadership style was that of nurturing individuals to discover their potential, empowering them to develop a compelling vision and implement strategies to achieve both personal & professional growth.
Her focus has always been on building transformational journeys that are sustainable for the individuals, leaders, their teams and the organization as a whole.
In her last role as an HR leader, she started with 25 people, and in 15 years, scaled it to 2500 with 5 lines of businesses. Being a culture evangelist, she firmly believes that organizational cultures are the singular reason for remaining competitive and sustainable in the long run.
In her words, “You cannot call yourself a leader without prioritizing building a strong culture. If employees do not feel supported and nurtured, organizations often struggle to maintain their competitive edge, adapt to changing market conditions and innovate in time.”
Now she continues the same journey with DCODE Inspired Living, where multiple organizations can benefit from her expertise.
In her pursuit to bring a transformation in the lives of girls, Smitha works closely with NGOs to create awareness for women’s safety and hygiene, self-esteem enhancement, and even ensures education for underprivileged girls.
